JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks a Hand Embroider, General is expected to perform include:

Making decorative designs on fabrics and other materials by hand, using needle and thread

Stitching a variety of flat stitches, loop stitches and knotted stitches

Tracing the design on fabric/material to be embroidered, if required

Knowledge of different types of embroidery stitches like cross stitch, French knot stitch, bullion knot stitch, etc.

Familiarity with needle work and thread work

Knowledge of operating different embroidery machines

Knowledge of beading, quilting, etc.
