JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks an Assistant Beautician is expected to perform include:

Performing basic epilation, manicure, pedicure and basic face care services

Assisting the Beautician in providing advanced services

Assisting in maintaining the salon ambience

Performing other jobs like selling salon retail products

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1

Knowledge of types of products, materials and equipment required for various treatments

Well-versed with the distinction between sterilization, disinfection and application

Knowledge of different types of sterilizing and disinfecting equipment/products available and their correct usage like boiling, baking, steaming, etc.

Knowledge of different types and effects of skin warming devices

Proficient in identifying erythema and its causes

Knowledge of different types of masks and their effects on the skin

Knowledge of time intervals required for facial and bleach treatment

Proficient in hair removal methods like sugaring, tweezing, shaving, etc. and their effects
